I do mean to post every week, but I am being so slack! Sorry!
Anyway, here we go for weeks 5 & 6…
C and I went on a play date with my friend and her sweet birthday girl! C and I shared some toast beforehand, but he basically ate jam out of a pot with his finger…
Helping me to bake something
I ate 8 crumpets this day. I’m not even ashamed.
Shake had to go away with work to Toronto for a week. First time C and I alone for that long! In protest, C wore Shake’s bike helmet for a whole day. People thought we were mad, I thought it was sweet.
I wasn’t joking. All. Day. Long!
Nanny and Grandad took us out for dinner on our first night alone. What a treat!
The following day we built a house for our new giraffe friends
On a very early morning walk we found we basically ruled the park! Wake up sleepy heads!
Traffic on the way to work. Boo. Oh, and that water isn’t meant to be there…
I made myself a midweek treat, mini fish pie. It was going to be delicious, but I accidentally microwaved it for 30 minutes instead of baking it. DOH!
My sweet friends came one night to babysit me. I bought us a whole mess of chocolate brownie/mousse. It was disappointing We still ate most of it, though!
More visitors! We actually ended up having a busy week without Shake! Two of my three brothers came to visit – they’re the best!
C loved seeing his Uncle and Grandpa/Uncle
The day Shake returned from his trip we (and the cousins) dragged him to London town! Here C is with his Uncle P enjoying being on the train. (I know, he really needs a haircut…).
London Eye! Too windy that day, we wobbled quite a bit, but the kiddies loved it!
Shame about the weather, but still a pretty awesome sight to see!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend
